I have a P3-866/133 system with 256megs pc133 running win2k, and a Geforce 2 32meg. I just ran Q3 timedemo1 @1024x768/32bpp basically I jsut left the settings alone. I got 68.8fps. I was just comparing mine to what was listed for a P3-800/100 system in Anand's Duron 750 review. He got 81.7fps from a P3-800. I have the latest 6.18 drivers installed, and I do have a couple progs running, Norton AV, ICQ, Palm hotsync manager, and of course my dnet cow. WIll these make a big difference? ANy suggestions on how to improve this? Thanks.
edit: Just felt liek running it a few more times before i head to the bar, never got above 69fps. There has got to be something wrong. I'm almost about to go back to Win98se or ME. I can feel the blue screens coming on already.
