Trollhunters are here to help out. Also, follow the trading advice provided in FS/FT and you should be fine. Check heatware evals of the member you plan on dealing with and check the bad traders list.

As a good piece of advice, work with established traders. And understand that they aren't going to trust you at first, so you might have to give more until you become more established. setup acct in Heatware and make sure you have verified contacts with the trader before making transactions. Also, chec FAQ on trading in FS/FT forum. 😉

23+ evals is good. You should have nothing to worry about as long as you have verified that the heat the person provided is actually theirs.

This is the way it works. Newbie traders (with little or no heat) ship first. I think almost everyone that trades on AT has gone through this when they first started. Those days were a long time ago for me, but I did go through them. All you need to do is build up your reputation.🙂

Yea. With 23 positives and no negs, send the package first. You will get your money. You just need to do this the first couple of times and then with a couple heatwares under your belt, you will be fine. I personally did my first few trades as buys, so there was no big deal with who sent first, since the buyer usually does anyway. Most people on AT are trustworthy. Trollhunters help, Heatware helps, threads about scammers help. Sounds like you will be fine. Welcome! It's addicting.

Just a note...don't let anyone tell you that you have to ship first. You're well within your rights to refuse to do so and find someone else who doesn't insist on having you do so. Of course, I think you'll find it somewhat harder to deal with established traders that way, but a newbie (that's not a bad word) trading with another newbie is a fine example where exchanging money first is acceptable. It's just not right when people tell a newbie that they have to ship first.
