Can someone help me real quick with a part in Clear sky

I am leaving the Swamp for the first time and entering Cordon with that stupid military outpost right when you walk out of the tunnel. I try to run up behind trees and rocks but I keep getting killed. I dropped all my stuff so I could run faster. What is the best strategy here? Do you have to run toward building and kill the men or are you suppose to go some other way and avoid the whole thing? Can someone walk me through it?

I had your same problem. The solution another path north in the Swamps (NE) that connects to the Cordon as well.



(further spoilers if you need help with the Stalkers)

Note that you may have to fight the renegades to get to the path, and that the Stalkers will now prevent you from crossing southward past the bridge (and the other paths across the tracks) until you you do a mission or two for them either by going to their main camp you can access and asking the stalkers if you can "do anything for you" until you find a taker or you get offered a mission randomly. After one or two missions they will now allow you to sneak past them (I'll let you work that out but it's around the bridge).
