In windows 98se when I try to boot it up, it stops on post and gives me an error message that reads "type in command interpreter at the command prompt. Last time this happen I had to reinstall windows. Is there a way to correct this without reinstalling windows?
 
copy command.com from you win98 start up diskette to your c drive (C:\). If that dn't work, my guess is yup, you'll be reinstalling. You really should get a better OS though...
