I got a Tivo as a gift (DTV receiver/Tivo combo) but I was disappointerd at the inability to transfer programs to my computer to burn and the lack of commercial skip feature. I also did not want to be chained to DirectTV. So I ordered a ReplayTV 5040 planning to return the Tivo. Since then I have come to like the Tivo - especially features like the Season Pass and "Key Word" recording. Does ReplayTV have anything like that or is it pretty much a digital VCR?
 
Why would you give up a FREE Tivo?!

Sheesh, I wish someone would give ME a free Tivo! 😀
