Can someone help me make a decent photoshop for my sis's bday

Well its my sisters 21st bday and im gonna send her a laptop as a gift. thought I would put in a nice wallpaper with our pic and a nice one liner or soemthing. as you can see my inittial shot at it has been pretty basic and boring. Can someone help me make it look better using Pshop. My best skills stop at Paint. You can chaneg the logo and the font of teh text etc. whatever it takes. just dont change the pic.

Also the Resolution is 1680 X 1050 UXGA. so somethign that size would be great.

Anything which looks birthdayish and doesnt look like its done in Paint. Just an elegant touch.

I could not match the type as I used a graphic the first time, but I think this may be ok.

It is 1680 x 1100 something. It will not stretch. It will simply crop a little.
