Can someone help me interpret what my search results for RAM upgrade?

http://www.crucial.com/store/l...0-XL400.&submit=Go

The following is the link for my notebook. Now it says I have 64mb, non-removable RAM. It also says I have 1 slot for RAM. And also suggests peices of RAM to put in. Now, I'm interpreting this in a few different ways and I need clarification.

1. The sit is messed up or is not correct and I cannot add in memory whate-so-ever.
2. On top of the 64MB of standard RAM, there is an open slot for another peice of RAM.
3. There is one slot of 64MB of RAM that I can remove for a larger peice.

thanks for the help guys!

Your notebook has 64mb of ram soldered onto the motherboard, and 1 144pin slot that will take up to a 256mb Sodimm, if you have more than 64mb of memory in your notebook now, you will have to remove whatever is in that slot to put in a 256mb stick you can get from crucial to max out the memory in your notebook. Hope this spells things out 🙂

Ok, now my second question is about finding RAM. I'm not sure what the different memory types are, but can I install any peice of RAM (256MB and under) that falls under the category of SDRAM, PC100 144pin?
