I overheard this song on the radio at work today and nobody knows what it is (Probably because my lyrics are way off):

Hang on(Hold on?)
Let go
That's just something I can't be proud of

Nope, it wasn't the Iggy Pop song. I'm pretty sure that the line: "That's just something I can't be proud of" is right. I'll try CDnow though as well to see if anyone there can help me.

Or like someone suggested in yakko's thread yesterday, call the radio station and ask them to look it up in their records. Most stations are very helpful assuming you can give them the rough time it was played.

Guy singing? Girl singing? Rock? Pop?

A little more would help.

Sounds a little like Bad Love by Eric Clapton?

Yes it does.. what he wrote could be mistaken for the chorus of Bad Love

Bad Love
by Eric Clapton and Mick Jones
Oh what a feeling I get when I'm with you
You take my heart into everything you do
And it makes me sad for the lonely people
I walked that road for so long
Now I know that I'm one of the lucky people
Your love is making me strong

I've had enough bad love
I need something I can be proud of
I've had enough bad love
No more bad love

And now I see that my life has been so blue
With all the heartaches I had till I met you
But I'm glad to say now that's all behind me
With you here by my side
And there's no more memories to remind me
Your love will keep me alive

It's a rock song. I thought it sounded a little like Van Halen. After describing it to my dad he thought it might be Ratt or Cinderella.
