Can someone help me figure out how to play this file?

I've got a large mpeg video file that will not play in any player I have.
I've tried QT, WMP, realPlus8, gdivx, the playa, etc. and I have downloaded all the codecs I can find.

I can get it to open in 2 converters that I have: Flask Mpeg and another one but I can't even get them to convert.... I can get them to show the movie but not in full screen, so I know it's not a corrupt file....

the file says something like svcd-3.mpg

any suggestions?

seems to be an mpeg2, one thing I can think of is that the mpeg uses a different codec that not free like Panasonic or Cinemaster. remember not all codecs are free for download and specially mpeg2. You *may* have an mpeg that requires a proprietary codec. It can also simply be corrupted.
