Can someone help me figure out a dilution rate for a new organic insecticide I'm trying?

Hey everyone I need some help figuring out a dilution rate for a new organic insecticide I'm trying in our garden this year. The label states that I need to use 2 quarts/100 gallons. This is way to much so I need help figuring out how many ounces/gallon is needed. If anyone can help me with this I would really appreciate it.

2 quarts is 64 oz, so per 1 gallon would be .64 oz/gallon.

uclaLabrat is correct if you're talking Fluid Oz (volume), which is probably correct since the pesticide is a liquid.

If you're talking regular Oz (weight):

the label indicates the pesticide is 2.5 US Gal/22.5 Lb.
16 Oz = 1 Lb, so 22.5 Lb = 360 Oz per 2.5 Gal. The product weighs 144 Oz/ Gal.

Since you need 2 quarts/ 100 Gallons dilution, and 2 quarts = 1/2 Gallons, you need 0.005 Gallons of product.
144 Oz * 0.005 Gal = 0.72 Oz of product per Gallon.

I'd start with converting everything to metric and to the same unit. At least then you're dealing with all the same type of units that will be consistent. Then you can just divide as you wish to get a smaller amount.

2 quarts is .5 gallons...OR, 64 ounces/12,800 ounces.
Divide by 10, 6.4 ounces/10 gallons, or as the labrat sez, .64 ounces/gallon.

I guess suggesting to do extra pointless steps is an idea, but I wouldn't listen, lol.

There is literally no need, ever, to switch the same units to another measuring system to "make life easier," then to switch it back.

Or just use the dimensional analysis (sometimes called factor-label method) to convert the units.

I'm on a completely different plane then he is when it comes to gardening. These are some older vids but our garden is something to see. You can't really appreciate it until it's seen in person. 2022 is going to be even better. Better weed control, better pest control, and better space management.
