Can someone guesstimate the prices of a x1950xt/xtx?

I might be interested in getting one, but if they will be alot more then the current x1900xt/xtx then I would just go with the current gen cards.

I'd like some opinions/guesses on how it will be priced so I can make a good decision about this.

thanks!

benches from the x1950xt/xtx kick the sh$(* outta the 7950gx2, but it will run about $400

I don't really see what niche the x1950Xt would serve. It's essentially the same as the existing card with newer, expensive RAM and a better cooler. The 256MB X1900XT serves the upper midrange/lower high-end better. I don't think they would have bothered with the 256MB version if they were going to come out an XT with GDDR4.

much higher performance than the previous x1900xt/xtx cards. It far surpasses the 7900gtx and 7950gx2 in those benches (except for f.e.a.r. for some reason), where as the x1900xt/xtx was equal to the 7900gtx and bit under the performance of the 7950gx2.

Also..are they still going to release the X1950 Pro version ? As this is the card im looking forward too. Anyone know anything yet ?

From what I saw the GDDR4 was kind of a wash on the XTX. It would make even less sense on a lower-end card, which will have less horsepower to handle the higher resolutions that would make use of the extra memory bandwith.
