Can someone gimme a quick overview to PDA stuff?

I am gonna get a good deal on a Casio Cassiopeia E-100. It's Windows CE, 133MHZ, 16mb RAM, Compact Flash, ummm... yeah.

I have a 64mb CF Card.... Does that act as a "harddrive" to store Apps and MP3s and stuff?
What programs can't I use because it is 131MHZ and 16mb RAM?
I have a Compact FLash Modem, will that work automatically with using drivers?
Anyone have any good sites for free apps that will work on it?

Unless by "Good deal" you mean under 40 bucks I wouldn't even bother. Get a Dell Axim for 150 and you are set. You basically have a mini laptop and you can surf the net at Starbucks, Circle K or Union gas station if you have a wireless card. You can use the CF as a mini HD in Windows

Then go for it. I am not sure if you can play MP3 under windows CE tho.

There is very little software available for Windows CE 2.x. Almost all the software is for Pocket PC nowadays, but you can use it as a regular PIM. You can probably use AvantGo as well.

For $40, go for it.

A comparable Pocket PC PDA will cost you at least $200.
