Can someone fix my avatar?

I'm having a serious case of PS PEBKAC here!

I have the avatar selected and in the clipboard and paste on to a transparent selection and every time I save it I have a white background! Tried with GIF/JPEG/PNG with the same results! I've done this 100 times before WTF is wrong? D:

Does that work? I set a 10&#37; tolerance with the Magic Wand, you might need more depending on how you think it looks.

I think th is board "reencodes" the image and stores it locally on the server. When it does this it breaks transparancy. Probably uses GD library to do resizing and what not and GD library does not support alpha transparancy.

In other words, if the forum has to re size your image, it breaks transparency

Yeah but depending how it's coded it might resize it either way, even if it stays the same size, it still processes. Just a guess though, dont know what the backend is like.
