Can someone explain to me why the heck that was locked?

I started a thread a few minutes ago, "I'm looking for a "hot deal" on CD-R", and it was locked, which everyone saw coming except for me. What were you guys talking about with the "Iwanna" threads, and different forums? I'm lost!

It was locked because it didn't present a hot deal. People who are looking for hot deals will always get locked in this forum.
