Can someone explain to me why Fall Out Boy sucks?

Let's not talk about their fan base... what's wrong with their music? I don't hear anything wrong with it?

Its extremelly generic first off. Its not just fall out boy..its all the bands like it that are spitting out crap. Serioulsy..lets say in 20 years when we are all still here..and we have thos threads again about "wahts your favorite song, your favorite band, favorite albumb" Fall Out Boy and many of thier copies will never make those lists.

Of course..there are exceptions..some people really do love it.
 
I don't think they are totally horrible and completely suck. But they aren't really really good either. They are mediocre. Kinda blah.

Partly yes. Yes some of their guitar rifts are bound to be catchy..but thats all they will ever be.
 
In this capitalist society that we live in, success is measured in dollars. Jerry Springer got rich off of parading idiots across the stage. Some other guy got rich off of a piece of cardboard spread across your windshield. If this band can sucker millions of idiots into buying their crappy music, they win. Don't blame them, blame the idiots who fill their pockets.
 
Their lyrics suck (seriously they got to be the most stupid songs ever and they are always directed to their stupid emo fan base)
Their guitar riffs are generic and most of them give me head aches
They have a 12-15 year old fan base
Plus the lead singer can't even pronnounce english correctly and he is always screaming rather than singing.
There are thousands of bands that are better than them.

I can't understand most of the words to their songs. Perhaps they should be put in an instrumental category and the added "mumbling of half-assed words" could just be a bonus!

I'll admit, I kinda liked the "dance dance" song the first couple times I heard it...downloaded their CD and it sucks....just crappy music IMO
