I'm running a i7 3930K and this is what I see when running CPU-Z

The voltage doesnt change curiously, possible that CPU Z is too slow to capture the new value, try using another soft to check if CPU Z is accurate.
 
well it looks like it's forgetting its instructions sometimes. once it talks to mothership and receives updated instructions it knows what they are so it displays them
