Can someone explain this to me?

So you are a major monitor/panel producer. You develop the best new tech out there for gaming - literally a decade in the making. You develop your first ultra high-end gaming monitor based on this tech and...you put crappy speakers in it. Seriously, WTF? Is there a single person in the market for that monitor who will actually want or need shotty built-in speakers? What does this mean to any serious gamer potentially thinking about purchasing this monitor other than added cost, weight, and size?

I've used the built in speakers on my monitors before — I wouldn't miss them if they were gone, but they would do okay in a crisis if my sound system went down 🙂

because it's a premium product and they put it in almost every monitor that comes now, they can charge a few more bucks :<, where ppl like u and me would look at it like.. omg I didn't want to pay few extra bucks for those speakers I will never use
some ppl with money will be happy to have them just for cases like...
1. having it
2. maybe in certain scenarios u're going somewhere with ur monitor and dont have anything else for audio
3. maybe any other speaker/headphones u have die? (death or life scenarios ;D)
