Can someone explain this fedex tracking to me?

Here is what it shows

Thing is, I don't HAVE a local fedex facility. Frankfort is a good 45 minute drive or so from Danville. Was it pointless to pay for 2 day shipping? Will I ever get my package?

A fedex facility I could assume could mean that it is wherever they host their packages. Even a local post office could be one. It would be wherever they store them locally so that people can pick them up if they are not home at delivery.

Just my guess.

is Danville like a little town in Frankfort? if its not then they just read something wrong and sent it to the wrong place. BUt thats not hard to fix you just call the frankfort place and tell them to send it to the one in Danville

nowhere near each other... and they couldn't have gotten to danville in 20 minutes anyway

If you can't get it today, you can probably call and bitch some money back.

I am getting shafted by Fedex ATM too.
They put my package to a different hub than normal, which is a city about 25 minutes away. It's out for delivery since 8am. I am a little pissed right now.

Often, when I'm getting something from Newegg via FedEx (as I assume you are), they'll get it to the "local" facility (about an hour's drive away) on the second day, and then hold it "just because" I got the cheap 3 day shipping instead of the arm-leg-and-kidney 2 day. I know, I know, I shouldn't expect it early if I didn't pay for it early, but it pisses me off that it's sitting in a warehouse that close and there's nothing I can do about it (they won't even let you pick it up yourself if they haven't tried to deliver it once already).
