Can Someone Explain This Error?

Running XP Pro. In the Event Viewer>System, I am frequently receiving this warning: Source is PlugPlayManager. Event is 256. The description I receive is: "Timed out sending notification of device interface change to window of "Connections Tray". Is my system about to blow a gasket? Or, can I ignore the whole deal? I'm more curious than concerned. Thank you.
