Can someone explain the "Spider" incident?

Syringer had a female in his apartment building ask him to kill a spider. Syringer never posted an update detailing all of the things he did not do with this female. Syringer has never lived it down.

This has to have been about a year and a half ago now.

He started the thread with a really big post, explaining that it was really late (like 3am?), the girl was very pretty, and she called him to go to her apartment to kill this spider. All of ATOT was rooting him on. Then just as a cliffhanger developed, he never updated the thread.

His posting in this thread will do nothing to keep the entire spider phenomenon alive, it will only keep this thread alive. This thread didn't need him to keep it alive either, there were only 4 minutes between the post before his and the post after his.

The only thing that will kill the spider phenomenon is if the mods start handing out vacations.

Maybe that'll be their Christmas present to us. We can only hope.
