His posting in this thread will do nothing to keep the entire spider phenomenon alive, it will only keep this thread alive. This thread didn't need him to keep it alive either, there were only 4 minutes between the post before his and the post after his.
The only thing that will kill the spider phenomenon is if the mods start handing out vacations.
Maybe that'll be their Christmas present to us. We can only hope.
