I have this card in my deck, and nobody can ever figure out what it does. It's actually a good defense as nobody wants to kill it to avoid the hassle of trying to figure it out LOL.

The card is Orzhov Euthanist

Man I used to play that all the freaking time, now theres too many rules.

The way I see it is, when the card is initially played, all creatures that have been dealt damage that turn aredestroyed. WHen the assassin is killed, you can have it shadow or haunt another creature. When that creatures is killed, all creatures that turn that have been dealt damage are destroyed.

pft that's not hard to figure out.....when the euthanist is put into the graveyard it gets removed from the game, and picks a target creature to "haunt". when said haunted target is put in the graveyard, you get to destroy any damaged creature that current turn :)

you also get to destroy a damaged creature when the euthanist comes into play....but I imagine you figured that part out :)

wrong, it says "target creature" not "all creatures dealt damage this turn". other than confusing the number of targets, sounds about right.

When it says "target creature" does it mean one or all?

pretty sure it means one. for example: wrath of god is a notable white card..."destroy all creatures".

oh ok, so basically when I put it into play, if someone damaged one of my creatures, I can destroy their creature? Then when it does, I haunt a creature then when that creature dies, I can destroy another creature that dealt me damage? Think I get it now.

The only part I'm still not sure about is how can someone damage me during my own turn? Guess through instants and such?

Wow, do people still play with Magic Cards? They were briefly popular at my school when I was in around fourth grade, maybe 1994 I guess. Never could figure out how to play it.

There is still a fair amount of people that play magic online.

as for the card. You need to understand the haunt mechanic which was a little weird, it's like a curse. when the card enters player you can kill a creature card that was dealt damage this turn. Then when haunt goes off (the creature you targeted with haunt when the Orzhov died goes into the graveyard) it can do the same effect again.

I admit I liked Magic, back in 93 or 94 or so.
I forget.

I recall having mostly alphas and betas and some revised. When they went to 4th edition I got tired and quit. Too expensive and I didnt have a real job at the time, just mowing lawns and such. And if I did have a real job I would have preferred cool stuff like a car and a nice jacket.

Wow, no. Is English your second language?

WAS DEALT, not DEALT.

Any creature that was damaged (not dealt damage) can be targeted and destroyed.
