Can someone explain iTunes to me?

I just picked up an iPod shuffle and put some music on it from my laptop at school. I'm home for the weekend and I'm trying to put music from my home computer and it gives me some sort of error about only being able to sync to 1 computer at 1 time? Does that mean everytime I switch computers to add music all the music from the previous computer must be formatted?

yes. the ipod will only grab music from one computer at a time.

no, just don't sync the iPod. Change it in the options. Then when you switch computers you just add songs manually.
