I have a Shure e3c, which has an impedance of 26 ohms. What output levels on mp3 players do I need to power it properly?

If it is a standard miniplug (1/8") it will work in ANY device that has a minijack, including MP3 players and the output your multimedia speakers may have on the front of the control unit.
Also walkmans and discmans.

You could easily make a simple amp and be able to drive the Shure's in the event you're not getting enough volume or clarity out of your player.

What output level would the player need to have? I think it's usually listed in ohms too. What many ohms would the player need for 26ohm earphones?
