can someone explain bedsheet differences to me?

Sateen is the way they finish the cotton. Makes it kind of shiny and slick..almost like satin...Pima cotton is a strain of cotton plant. Has longer fibers, and is considered to be a premium cotton. Supposedly named for the Pima Indians, who worked with the USDA in developing the strain...

hmm... ok the ones I bought are "pima cotton 500 thread count 1 ply sateen".. then they have "royal sateen" which has like 1 inch wide bars on it.. hard to explain...

I'm trying to find sheets that don't make me like 800 degrees after 5 minutes under them
