Can someone estimate my output? (Also a fleet brag thread ;)

This post taken from another thread. I have created this new topic because I'd like to know what my potential output is with my CURRENT assimilations and also what my potential output will be with my FUTURE assimilations (the machines listed under "yet to be assimilated"). I know there are those of view who are patient enough to work this out!! I would, but each time my computer has to calculate something, it takes that much longer to do a WU ;):D

Gday all!!!

Well, it seems as there is interest in my production, so I'll give you a quick rundown of what's happening and what my fleets consist of! Feel free to add your own here too!

By the way, the reason I have been able to upload is that my queues are set to upload 24/7 and I have 3 separate queues... one for each school... that transmit directly to berkeley.

Home
1 AthlonXP@1.6GHz
1 Athlon4 Notebook @ 1.2GHz

9 P3 800EB
9 P3 550E
8 P3 600/650E

School 2
10 P3 933
3 AthlonXP 1600+
3 P3 800EB
2 P3 550E
2 Celeron 566

Yet to be assimilated
1 G4 iMac 800MHz
3 P3 933
Approx 10 P233MMX
-----------------------------------------------------------
School 3
1 P4@1.6GHz (RDRAM!! )
1 P3 933

Yet to be assimilated
22 iMac G3 (are they 350, 400 or more MHz?? They are the old coloured ones. How fast are these at SETI?)
1 G4 Powermac 800MHz
5 P4 1.7GHz (SDRAM )
-----------------------------------------------------------
Ok... those are my fleets! Each school has a separate Q, and so does my home.
So I can upload and download in Parallel. This is the only reason I've been able to sustain my production throughout this WU drought.

Each of my queues is set to hold between 50WUs (for home), 3000WUs for the big school and 800WUs for the smaller schools.

At the moment, I don't know exactly what I am averaging (can someone work out my theoretical maximum output?? plz? ) I'd also like to know what I'd be averaging when the assimilations are complete! That would be nice hehehe....

Well, there you have it people. I don't think I'll be putting out 400WU/day on average for a while yet, but we'll see what happens.

That is a lot of stuff...... :Q

:D

This might give you a little idea of what to expect, I have about 60 C-1GHz and 25 P4-1.6s. I generally put about 130-150 WUs a day through them. That is with the computers being used through the day. This summer, they will be sitting all day long, not being used.............

OK, Pie --

I plugged the equation into the Quad Xeon and after chugging away all day, it finally spit out the answer...

42
