Can someone educate me on this power supply?

I found this psu in the dumpster of a small computer shop. Its a Macron MPT-460 with a maximum output of 460w and +3.3V & +5V 230W MAX. There is a model for Dual Athlon Motherboards but i think this model is actually designed for Xeon cpus. I've been running it on a gigabyte k8ns pro -clawhammer 3200+ 1gb , 2- 5400rpm drives & radeon 9500pro for a couple of weeks with no problem. In a few days however i'll be replacing the radeon with a Leadtek 6800Gt. Basically i'm wondering if this thing is going to cut it with the 6800Gt and just what the quality of this psu is as i've never heard of Macron before.

The specs are here.

Do you really wanna chance it with a PSU you found in the garbage? They musta thrown it out for a reason.....just have peace of mind and buy a new better PSU 😛

No i've been testing it out for two weeks and it seems fine and looks brand spankin new. Besides, these guys throw out perfectly good hardware all the time. I don't think they know what in the hell they're doing.

I've never heard of that brand either, and I can't find any PSU's from that company on froogle or newegg. The specs on the PSU seem pretty good, and if it actually lives up to them, it should have no problem in that setup. One thing I'm curious about though is that the PSU says it has a 24-pin connector, and an 8-pin CPU connector, so what do you have plugged into the board's 4-pin CPU connector?

Actually it's got 24 pin, 8pin and 4 pin plugs.
Photo here. It's the intel version right below the amd version. It looks like Macron might be an Australian company.

Don't have one and probably wouldn't know how to use one. Would third party applications like Aida32 be able to tell me anything important about the voltages of this psu?
