Can someone define the word "whine" for me?

if what i posted here is whining than i guess about 95% of OT posts are just whining.

Just because it happens a lot doesn't mean it's not whining.

again, if it happens so much, what's the point of pointing it out. usually we respond to extremes or changes from the status quo. we tend not to comment on status quo much like we ignore "white noise".

but i can see that you don't see that point.

It's a vicious circle. The ones who aren't whining are whining about the ones whining by pointing out the fact that they are indeed whining.
