I went to their site and I did a search here, but I'm getting incomplete and conflicting information.

Their site says that the maximum size file you can send is 10MB. Some people here have said that it is larger. I can't find anything on their site that gives a limit for the size of attachments you can receive and it's not clear in the threads I've read here either. Their storage size sounds great, but I need these two questions answered.

I have to send emails with photos attached that are usually around 20MB each. My provider's limit is 30MB and sometimes I have 2 or 3 different sets of these that I have to send and would like to keep at the ready for sending when there are problems receiving them at the other end and when others request them.

So

What is the size limit for emails you can send with gmail?

What is the size limit for emails you can receive with gmail?

Oh, and I haven't signed up for an account yet because my cell phone doesn't work in my home area, but if it sounds like something I can use, my search has made it pretty clear that it would be easy to get an invitation code from someone here at the forums. :)

Thanks for the account offer and sending info, TheStu.

I'm still hoping someone can tell me the receiving limit. If it'll accept 20MB at a time I may take you up on that.

I'm on the public relations and communication team at the high school where I teach. It was decided that, since I already do all the photography for sports and activities there, it would be easy for me to send the photos and info to all the area newspapers and media outlets. :p
