Are heatsinks such as the XP-90, SI-120 not compatible with AM2? Can you switch the stock AM2 plate/bracket for the included "K8" plate/bracket they have?

If that's not possible, doesn't that essentially mean 99.9% of HSFs out their are not compatible?

Yes, most 939/754 heatsinks won't fit AM2, but an adapter has already been devised.
