Can someone bring me up to speed on bluetooth?

I just got an Audiovox SMT5600 Smartphone. I know nothing about bluetooth, but am interested in it. What all can I do with it? The only thing I know about it is I can use a bluetooth headset.

Is that all its good for? If I get a bluetooth adapter for my PC can I sync the phone & PC without the cable?

usually, yes

you can also connect to other bluetooth phones and share ringtones and what not

you can transfer files, use it as dial-up networking, use headset and some other things

I'd like to hear more about stereo headphones. Found these so far, but they're high priced and I have no idea if they sound decent or not:

1. Sonorix
2. Zonet?s Model ZUB8100
3. BlueTake BT420ex

Am I wrong to think that using a phone for MP3 duty will be common soon? Am I wrong to think bluetooth headphones would be the preferable choice for that use? Is it just a matter of time, or will it not pan out that way? Why not?
