When a person types out LOL....are they actually laughing...or just trying to feel included or to gain posts?
 
I've used LOL for both LOL and LOTI (laughing on the inside)... the former is just quicker to type and a bit more comtemplateable.
 
i voted for posts since both happens. Mostly im usually laughing or did laugh when i write LOL, sometimes its just the thing to write.
 
i type "lol" when i actually emit a snicker or giggle or small laugh. enough that if someone else were in my room, they would hear it and say "man, you just LOLed"
