can somebody tell me if the EMU10K1 on their SBLive is hot

Yea, they're all hot. No need to worry tho, it'll run fine scorching like that.

But if your paranoid, you can get a card/slot cooler to create some airflow. But most ppl, even some of the cooling freaks just leave it alone.

i just opened my case to find out, and those things are hot! reminds me of my voodoo3 maybe i'll slap on that old 486 heatsink i have just for kicks

should be just fine the way it is though, don't worry about it
