Can somebody recommend a good Multi Purpose All in One office printer?

definitley need fax and it probably needs a laser no price range really but nothing expensive like over $1000

I really like the HP 2210 🙂 It all of those, not to mention the printing is photo quality. The retail price is $299. When I worked for Gateway, we used our display 2210 for all of out copying, and it worked flawlessly 🙂

I am using my epson 5200, and I love it...and its only $199

Same printer, sorta mixed feelings on it. Got it for $110 a few mo's ago, $30 rebate, $30 coupon, and $30 G/card w/ purchase @ OD. It doesn't have fax capabilities, but it is printer/flatbed scanner/ copier and it does overall work well. (I didn't need fax, I have another printer/fax/scanner that can do that, as well as a modem/fax.

I've used the 5200 to print some photo's. 5440x2880 resolution seems like it'd be perfect, but, the colors are washed out and I can see dots still. I'm not sure if it's really printing at it's highest mode because it uses 'categories' instead of a resolution slider. I pick the glossy photo paper type, and then into advanced to pick the best quality settings, and even in the best mode the photo's aren't as good as I've seen on some other inkjets.

Also, it's a bit noisy pulling in the paper, makes a loud banging sound as it grabs the sheet, then it's ink-jet quiet. Overall good printer, for $110 is great, for $199 I'd probably consider something else.

Are any of those listed laser?? I know the HP D145 isn't.

I'd recommend the Lexmark X5150, but it will only do fax through a fax modem in the computer.

We have a Brother MFC-8500 or something like that in the office.
Fast, quiet, tons of great features, and VERY VERY reliable, unlike the sh1t HP's we've gone through.

Cheaper, too.

If you want a good budget inkjet multifunction printer, check out the one from Dell .

I have a Canon i850i and I am very happy with it. Awesome quality and quick output. You can get it for around 140 with the USB cable.
