Me a couple of friends are starting up hardware site (hopefully this isn't blasphemous posting here) and I am in charge of all of the web work. I've got the basic design down, but now I'm in need of a way to update the News Headlines on several pages (about eight) without manually editing each everyday.
Back when I did a little perl work, I did something similar to this with a counter for my site. When executeing the cgi file, it read from a txt file and printed the last number on the page where the script was exe. This is sort of what I'm looking to do with this, but this is out of my league.
Can you guys help me out?
Thanks much,
Joe Adkins
