I have an olf AMD K6-2 366MHz machine, and the CPU fan just got broken.
I search pricewatch.com and found a fan at:

http://www.bassotech.com/priceWATCH/products/fan/15b3.htm

In the pricewatch item listing, it says "SOCKET FAN FOR SOCKET A SOCKET 7 SOCKET 370",
but in the actual web site, it only says "SOCKET A".

Does any one know whether a socket A heatsink and cooler will also work for a socket 7 CPU? Thanks a lot!

Yes they can. But you need to watch the base dimensions for clearance issues. There is a CoolerMaster HSF on http://www.svc.com etc. specifically rated for Socket 7/370/Duron.

find the smallest socket A heatsink for use on socket 7.

Like Zepper said, clearance will be the issue.
