can shoes make you feel depressed?

I got new sneakers the other day, they fit great, but i noticed that iam just not as happy as i used to be when i wear the old ones and even when i put on the old shoes on and go to work i feel happier. Only thing i can think of is that the shoes arent very colorfull, they are all shiny and grey/black.

are these shoes particularly reminiscient of another pair of shoes that affected you in a deep emotional way...perhaps then you might have a point, cause really unless you're staring at your shoes all day the lack of color shouldn't be a problem

for me, new shoes make me happy! i have never felt that way about shoes. now, my fav shirt on the other hand... when i put it on, i feel myself become calm!
