Can Samsung Phones be unlocked via Code?

Can Samsung Phones be unlocked like Sony Ericcson and Nokia phones ? (using unlock code)

Or

Does it have ot be connected to some type of data cable to unlock it ?

Anyone ?

the code is phone specific, but it does unlock from just a code. i've done that on my old S105

Depends what model. I unlocked my S105 with no problems.

i think you can call tmobile after 3 months of service to request a lock code. say you're going over-seas. they have no problems providing you with a code.

yea I've unlocked other phones with t-mobile before.
I've been with them for about 10 months now
If you count my previous contract, more like 28 months.
