Can resolutions be custom?

you could do it through powerstrip if your graphics drivers don't have that setting. but it'll probably look like ass.

after a while you get used to the smaller sizes.

You should be be able to add it through your driver control panel.

However keep in mind your panel's native resolution looks like it's 1680x1050 so it'll probably look like ass at 1440x900.

I'd have to agree with the other 2 posts. It's certainly possible to set custom resolutions, I've been running 1360x1020 on my CRT since the day I got it because 1280x960 was too large and 1600x1200 was too small. But you have an LCD, and they are generally quite poor at running non-native resolutions...now, you could POSSIBLY run a custom res scaled with borders, but it would be a lot of wasted screen space. Best way is to try and see just what it would look like.

Do you have a nVidia card? If you do you can add a custom resolution through the driver control panel under Resolutions and Refresh Rates.
