Hey folks,

Does anyone here know whats involved with upgrading a ReplayTV like you can the TiVo's?

Also, is the TiVo more user-friendly or what's the general concensus on that?

replay tvs are better then a tivo as you can simulate a computer to behave as a replay and then you never have to open up your replay if you dont want to.

Both interfaces have their advantages and you will find that people staunchly defend each of them. They're both very easy to use so I wouldn't call one more user-friendly than the other.

you can watch a recorded show and record another, tivo can do that too.

if you have a cable ready tv you can split the signal and do it also.
