Welcome Ellis Burks

Holy crap we are loaded on offense, defense, pitching and bullpen. If we can somehow get Greg Maddux to sign for the veterans minimum and bring a championship to Boston, what a year it is going to be.

Like fine wine, he gets better with age.

Look at his 2002 numbers when he is healthy, he puts up better numbers then most guys at age 25.

It doesn't matter, the Red Sux will finda way to blow it, they always do.

Have the Bosox ever made it to the AL championship in back-to-back years?

2004 is THE year for MA:

Pats win the SuperBowl
Red Sox win the World Series
Kerry wins the Election

can't discount the Bruins or Celts either [there could be a miracle]

The only potential problem I see is at 2nd Base. Pokey Reese over Todd Walker? I question that decision. Other than that, I couldn't be happier. One week til Spring Training gets underway. Until then, this Patriots high will get me through the winter.

Every year is the year for MA, maybe you fans should try something new this year and not proclaim it yours, its getting a little old.

Theres the key...when you are 40 years old and have a history of injury, there isnt a whole lot of 'HEALTHY' time.

Well that was a money thing. Walker overestimated what he would get in FA, and signed with Chicago for as much as the Sox had originally offered. Had he known that, I think he would have preferred to have signed here.

If it comes out to an Astros / Red Sox WS, I'll hold you to that. The Astros are going to be pretty good this year too.

No crap. Boston Fans act is tired.

Btw, Kerry wins? You're kidding right. You have a better shot at Boston finally winning one.

Last time that the convention was held in Boston and a Senator from MA was running, I don't think he did too badly, in the election anyway.

Back on topic, Trot Nixon just signed for another 3 years. :D
