from my url POP3 accounts using Outlook. Configuration is correct. Host says it's the ISP not allowing me to connect to send. ISP says it is not them blocking. Anyone know a way around this?? It seeems to be common issue.

sure ur out going mail server settings are correct? i dunno much about outlook, but i do know it has a lot of "issues"...maybe u can look into that?

If you're not accessing your mail box from that ISP's network, they usually block "sends" for security reasons (i.e., you can receive mail, but not send it).

Some ISPs will offer an option for mail accessable from any net, but the mailbox is "outside" the ISP's protection. Some ISP's will offer a "webmail" option, but restrict use to text and only a few kinds of attachments.

yep make sure your outgoing is correct. but also make sure your on the connection from your isp

if you have an @home and are on any other form of connection it wont let you send.

also you may need to call them if your behind a router or firewall and need a direct path then you need the full mail server address

ie

mail.XXXXXX.XX.home.com and you use whatever server you use where the xxx's are that way you can use a firewall or routher on a @home network
