Can Polaris use CrossFire bridges?

Have a look at this Asus RX480:

It looks like is has two CrossFire connectors, doesn't it?
I was under the impression that starting with Hawaii they've done away with bridges for CrossFire and use only the PCI-E bus.

All AMD GPUs since Hawaii 290 and 290x have used XDMA for multi-gpu. Whoever is doing product renders @ Asus got lazy and used a board for an Nvidia card or perhaps an older AMD card. You can see in this unboxing that the board doesn't have CF bridge traces.
