Yes, the FBI has done it. Remove the battery is the only way to stop it. The Secret Service mandates this when in other countries.

lol you guys are funny. Its not just people watching me boff the wife or fapping one out. I get a creepy feeling when I look at the camera. I am willing to bet someone is able to look through those whenever they want. I have an example for comparison, but its different.
A friend of mine worked for the phone company for a long time. He gave me a walk through and I got to see all the fiber connections and all the cool stuff.
There was a bunch of plugs and stuff and when you unplug one, you hear some random people having a conversation. I asked him, "whats that?" He said it was people using their phone. I lol'd.
So, those people had no idea I heard them. We didn't sit there and listen, but I saw what happens and saw the potential for abuse. I bet the same thing goes for camera phones. Bet you anything.
