I have an athlon xp 1700+ and an epox 8kha+ motherboard. I recently replaced the abit motherboard and the duron processor. I upped the speed of the fsb to 140. This is at 1.75v. I have an antec 300 watt power supply. No problems at all. I did not have even one lock up. I ran 3dmark 2001 several times with my geforce and got scores around 7300. I then installed my ms ff usb steering wheel. The wheel would not configure in grand prix legends and F1 2001 for some reason. I put the fsb back down on 133. I uninstalled the wheel and reinstalled it. The wheel now works in grand prix legends fine. It works in F1 2001, but in that game it will not let me assign the paddle shifters. It says that button is reserved. It is really weird. I was running windows xp and these games before. I usually do not have to install things twice. What could the cause possibly be? F1 2001 was fine before I put the new hardware in. I have not had one lock up or error message while overclocking or not overclocking. I thought this might be some type of directx problem or something. I did notice that when the buttons are assigne on the wheel in the game they are read as "space" and "c" for two of them. I thought that was weird too. I am starting to think that maybe I should just reinstall windows xp even though it has only been on my machine two days and really hardly any programs are installed Thanks!
