So I have google desktop at home. I also use Google Extreme to index my network drives.
However, I haven't paid too much attention to how detailed it gets. I don't know the details but I will be doing a name search through word documents going back 10 years.
I was thinking if I could install google desktop and have it indexed only the directory where this stuff is located, that I just look for "John" and it will show up in the search.
Does this sound right?
And yes ofcourse everyone needs proper approval.
