If you want to play FPS or sports games, its good! (DVD's and video files as well)
If you want to play RPG or surf the web, its bad!

I use my ATI AIW Radeon, and its TV-out is pretty good(limited to 800x600x60hz)

I just made a system for my living room using a 27" TV. I'm using a Radeon LE with the S-video. For surfing the web I have to use 640x480. Any higher and text is too blurry. I also had to mess around with the contrast and brightness to make it easier to read. Don't expect web browsing to look like it does on your monitor. It is acceptable though for lite web browsing and checking out movie trailers on the web. I use it mostly to watch divx movies and cartoons I download.
