Can old video cards drive wide-screen monitors at native resolution?

About to embark on a first build in several years (still don't have valid reason to upgrade, other than the stock pile of cheap RAM, PSUs and cases I picked up over the past month.....). I am considering picking up this BFG Tech 3DFuzion GeForce 6200 for < $10. However, I want to upgrade my LCD to a 20" wide-screen with 1680X1050 native resolution. Can old video cards, like this BFG, output this resolution or do I need to find a newer generation hardware?

Thanx

Yes it can output that video resolution but will really suck at games.
For desktop and aero use, you will be fine.
The maximum resolution on those cards are 2560x1600 @ 60Hz.

Don't plan to use that card for gaming. I just need a basic card that will drive 20" wide screen LCD for remote-desktop into work computer. My monitor at work is a 20" wide screen while my monitor at home is a 17" regular LCD. Every time I remote-desktop into work, I see a crunched screen. Really hate that.

I see the max resolution is beyond what I am looking for. However, the specs I found on-line list only 4:3 aspect ratio resolutions:

Graphics Resolution
2048 x 1536 @ 85Hz Analog 16.7 Million Colors (32-bit)
1600 x 1200 @ 60Hz Digital 16.7 Million Colors (32-bit)
2048 x 1536 @ 85Hz Maximum Analog
1600 x 1200 @ 60Hz Maximum Digital

Where did you find the info on maximum resolution on those cards are 2560x1600 @ 60Hz? BFG's own web-site does not even list this model any more.

I'm sorry, I was mistaken.

You are correct...the figures I was looking for in my head were in fact...2048x1536.
