Can NVIDIA 3D Vision 2 kit work on older NV 3D Vision 1 compatible monitor?

Specifically wondering about AW 2310 Optx, which is older and listed as being only Vision 1 compatible. I ordered this monitor from Dell, it doesn't come with any kit at all. Do I need anything extra to use Vision 2 kit on it, assuming V2 works?

I know my monitor doesnt Lightboost, but would like to have the bigger lens glasses with the V2 Kit.
