Can ntfs read fat 32 files?

I was thinking about switching to windows 2000 and formatting my drive to ntfs. I have two hard drives in my machine. I want to put my needed files such as mp3s and photos on the old drive so I don't lose them forever. My question is can the new ntfs drive read files off my old fat 32 drive? Or can it only read files off of ntfs drives?

Hmm...your question doesn't make sense. The filesystem (NTFS) doesn't "read" files from your other (FAT32) drive. Windows reads the actual data from the drive, and to answer your question, yes, Windows2000 can read data from FAT32-formatted and NTFS-formatted drives.
