Can not laod Win 2000

I am attempting to load os Win 2000 on to a newly built machine.
Set up rejects 32 files "Set up unable to copy". All the rejected files contain the character "~" , about half end in ".rmi" and the other half end in ".cls" Any sugesstions ?


AMD athlon 1800+
Soltek SL-75 DRV2
Crucial DDR 512 ram
WD 80 gig HDD
Radeon 7000 video
